Little Lamplight Child Care (LLCC) started at International Christian Church in May 2019, as an opportunity to reach our community with affordable, loving, and safe child care. We are dedicated to serving families in Hampton Roads with experienced staff, small classroom sizes, as well as a clean and safe facility.
Psalm 119:105 says, “Your Word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.”
Our Mission
At LLCC, our mission is to provide Christian child care and learning that fosters lifelong learners and lovers of Christ.
Our Vision
Our vision is to be recognized in the community by our affordable Christian-based programs that promote children’s development across all stages of life.
A Typical Day at Little Lamplight
Little Lamplight Child Care is a full time program dedicated to providing a warm, loving, and inviting learning environment that allows children to develop at their own pace. We foster Christian character and positive self-image, along with their development growth in the areas of spiritual, intellectual, social, physical, and emotional skills through group activities, individual play, and quiet periods. Parents and teachers work together to be the best they can be in order to enhance the child’s experience and appreciation of themselves and the world.
Our Christian based curriculum provides thematic based units for infancy through age 5. Each unit provides guidance and activities to develop language, pre-reading, pre-writing, and other foundational skills appropriate to your child’s stage of development.
