Location: Scarborough Square Park. We’re partnering with “National Night Out” and distributing school supplies for our annual Back-to-School Outreach. This is a great way for you and a group of friends to serve the local community. Have you ever wondered how churches start? Larry Campbell of Endeavor Church will be hosting a discovery night on June 19th in Virginia Beach. This will be an in-person event only so get registered and together we will explore church planting and how God uses ordinary people to accomplish the Great Commission. Our registration will ask you some questions that will help prepare a more focused approach to the questions you have as well as your perspective on church planting. We look forward to our time together and how God will work through our curiosity to challenge us in our thinking and paint a new picture of church planting we can hang in our minds. SPARC presents the 3rd Annual Above the Clouds 5K in honor of Dr. Albert K. Lin, our former youth director and elder at ICC. This is a run/walk to raise awareness to brain cancer, and to remember and honor Dr. Lin. He continues to inspire us to live our lives to the fullest, and to finish the race, in a manner most worthy of a prize that lasts for eternity. A portion of your registration fee will be donated to www.braintumor.org, who unrelentingly invests in, mobilizes, and unites the brain tumor community to discover a cure, deliver effective treatments, and advocate for patients and caregivers as well as the Finish The Race grant, designed to provide financial relief to those facing hardships.
